COOKIES · YOUR CHOICE
Cookie and Local Storage Notice
Browser storage required for the site to work is always active. Google Analytics 4 loads only after explicit consent; we currently use no advertising, remarketing or session-replay tags.
1. What is the difference between cookies and local storage?
Cookies and browser storage are small data items. They can remember a preference, support security checks or — with separate consent — measure use of the website.
2. What does the website currently use?
| Name / provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| proxend_locale | necessary localStorage | remembering the HU/EN language choice | until browser data is cleared |
| proxend_form_draft | necessary localStorage | continuing an unfinished project brief | until successful submission, no longer than 7 days |
| proxend_consent_v2 | necessary localStorage | remembering the analytics consent choice | until the choice is changed or browser data is cleared |
| chatbot handover data | sessionStorage | one-time prefill between the chatbot, calculator and contact page | until used or the session ends |
| hCaptcha | necessary security storage | detecting bots and abuse | according to the provider's security settings |
| _ga, _ga_* | optional analytics cookie | distinguishing visits and interactions in Google Analytics 4 | according to Google's current settings, typically up to 2 years; only after consent |
3. hCaptcha spam protection
Contact and chatbot forms are protected by hCaptcha. The service may assess technical and interaction signals and use storage required for operation. Its purpose is to reduce bots, automated abuse and unsolicited submissions.
4. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager and the Google Analytics 4 tag configured in it load only when you allow analytics. If you decline, the site sends no analytics request to Google and creates no GA4 cookie.
Analytics may measure page views, traffic source, device and browser characteristics, approximate geographic information and website interactions. Proxend currently loads no Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, remarketing or session-replay tag.
5. How can you change or withdraw your choice?
You can reopen the panel at any time using the Cookie settings button in the footer. When analytics is disabled, the site updates the consent state and attempts to delete Google Analytics cookies associated with its own domain.
You can also delete or block cookies and local-storage data in your browser's privacy settings.
